My name is Tim Lundy and I am the newest addition to the NADP team, as of this June. I am a Nebraska native who graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this past May with a degree in English and Classical Languages.
I have been interested in human rights issues since I was in high school, and I worked on a wide variety of issues as a student, through my involvement with Amnesty International and Nebraskans for Civic Reform. It was through Amnesty that I first became aware of the deep and numerous flaws with the death penalty in the United States and NADP’s work to replace Nebraska’s death penalty with life without parole.
I’m very excited to be working as a field organizer for NADP, and I’m eager to meet and work with many of you in the months to come. The momentum is truly on our side, but we have a lot of work ahead of us.
