Join us in Omaha next Thursday, January 30, at 6:30 pm for a free screening of the documentary “One for Ten” and the opportunity to help support death penalty repeal in Nebraska.
Since 1976, 143 innocent people have been released from death row in the United States. This means that for every 10 executions carried out in the U.S., 1 innocent person who was sentenced to death has been set free.
We’ll be at the Urban Abbey, 1026 Jackson St. in the Old Market, next week to show “One for Ten,” a new mini-documentary series about innocence on death row, and to talk about our work for death penalty repeal in Nebraska. We will have postcards on hand for people to contact their state senators and get more involved with our work!
After the screening, there will be lots of time for discussion, Q&A, and sampling of the delicious coffee served at the Urban Abbey.
Learn more about the mini-documentary series “One for Ten” here, and be sure to let us know that you’re coming on Facebook!
