Help Curtis McCarty Share His Story

Excitement is already building for death row exoneree Curtis McCarty’s visit to Nebraska later this month! Curtis was convicted twice and sentenced to death three times based on prosecutorial misconduct and bad forensics. Narrowly escaping an execution, it was only a lucky break that allowed Curtis to prove his actual innocence after two decades on Oklahoma’s death row. Since his exoneration in 2007, Curtis has become an internationally-recognized speaker.

Curtis’s story was recently featured in the North Platte Telegraph, the Lexington Clipper-Herald, and the McCook Daily Gazette in anticipation of his visit. The full schedule of Curtis’s trip is as follows:

Monday, May 19th: North Platte – Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 20th: Lexington – First United Methodist Church 6:30 pm Wednesday, May 21st: McCook – Memorial United Methodist Church 7:00 pm

Help us spread the word about Curtis’s visit! If you are in the area and plan to attend one of Curtis’s events, be sure to RSVP on Facebook to let us know you’re coming and invite your friends as well! Then, click here to send a tweet letting your friends know!
