Artistic Guidelines

  1. Designs should be full color.

  2. Designs do not need to include the NADP logo, but you may incorporate the logo if you wish. Printing on both sides of the t-shirt is allowed; if your design is meant to be printed on the back and you would like the NADP logo on the front, please indicate this.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Designs must be original and submitted by, or on behalf of, the designer and with the designer's direct consent. Parents or legal guardians must submit on behalf of minors.

  2. By entering the contest, the submitter certifies that the design is original and that submission of the design and use of the design by NADP does not infringe on trademark, copyright, or any other intellectual property or other laws.

  3. By entering the contest, designers agree to assign copyright of the design to unrestricted public domain.

  4. By submitting a design, the designer (and submitter, if separate) grant the NADP organization the right to reproduce, sell, trademark, copyright, publicly display, expand, revise, improve, or otherwise use the design in any manner.

  5. Designs, including hand drawn submissions, should be suitable for print media as well as for use in online channels. Submissions must be in JPG or PNG format and must not exceed 50MB in file size. The recommended size is 3,600x4,800 pixels, and the max resolution is 23,000x23,000 pixels. NADP may be able to help with image formatting, within reason.

  6. Submit all designs via email to info@nadp.net and be sure to include your name and contact information as well as where on the t-shirt your design is meant to be printed.

  7. Designers may submit as many designs as they wish, but may only win the grand prize once.

Official Contest Rules

  1. The design contest opens for entry submissions on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 9:00am CDT and ends Sunday, August 31, 2021, at 11:59pm CDT. There is no fee per submission or for contest participation.

  2. All entries must be an original creation of the designer that have never been published or publicly disseminated.

  3. Entries cannot contain trademarks, copyrighted material, or other protected, confidential, or proprietary images, logos, words, marks, or designs.

  4. Designs may NOT contain, as determined by the Organization, in its sole and absolute discretion, any content that: is sexually explicit, obscene, violent, disparaging, defamatory, slanderous, or illegal; derogatory toward any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional, age, or other group or class; vulgar, profane, or pornographic; promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or use of any of the foregoing); is politically partisan in nature; or communicates messages or images inconsistent with the inherent goal of the Organization.

  5. The prize is to receive a t-shirt of the designer's preference (e.g. color and size) chosen from available stock, printed with the winning design, and shipped direct. There will be up to three such prizes awarded; designers are invited to submit more than one design but no designer may win more than once.

  6. All entries become and remain the property of the Organization. The Organization may reproduce, sell, trademark, copyright, publicly display, expand, revise, improve, or otherwise use the design in any manner at any time. Designers may display their own design(s) in a portfolio or personal collection but may not sell or reproduce the design or any design that is confusingly similar to or derived from the design for any other purpose once submitted to the contest.

  7. A panel of judges representing the Organization will choose the winning submission(s).

  8. All eligible entries must be received by 11:59pm CDT, August 31, 2021. Designs must be submitted by email to info@nadp.net. Contest winner(s) will be announced via social media on September 12, 2021.

  10. The Organization reserves the right to pick anywhere from zero to three winning entries.

  11. The Organization may produce and sell t-shirts with the winning design(s), but is not obligated to do so.

  12. The Organization reserves the right to terminate this contest at any time, effective on the date of issuing the termination notice. The Organization is not required to provide notice prior to the date of termination.
